Online Consultations
At ARID, we are glad to offer e-consultations for our prospective out of town and out of state patients who cannot simply come into our office for a complimentary consultation. Dr. Ameli & Dr. Shapurian have developed an advanced, in-depth protocol for patients who choose to come to us from out of town and state for their cosmetic, implant, and periodontal surgical needs. To appropriately address patient needs and determine whether you are a candidate for cosmetic/implant surgery, we must first gather some information about you and your dental needs. If you’re from out of town and are interested in our services, please contact us to receive an e-consult form.
Welcome To Wellesley!
More than 350 years ago, a handful of men settled the area around the Charles River that is now known as Wellesley. They were so delighted with their new town that they named it “Contentment.” Although the name has changed over the centuries, the feeling of pride and satisfaction on the part of the residents towards their home remains strong. For many residents, this feeling of community was best summed up in the 1981 Centennial Celebration, a year-long discovery of Wellesley which brought a new sense of awareness of its history, a new enjoyment of its present, and a renewed commitment to its future.

History Of Wellesley
One of the businessmen attracted to this pretty, restful place was Henry Durant, who in 1875 founded Wellesley College. Wellesley College is a college for women, which has quickly become one of the most respected colleges in the country, on its beautiful lakeside campus. He named the college to honor his next-door neighbor, Horatio Hollis Hunnewell, a wealthy businessman and town benefactor whose mansion was named “Wellesley” in commemoration of his wife, whose maiden name was Welles.
An Educated Community
Wellesley ranks first in the United States in the percentage of adults who hold at least one college degree. Over 66% of the households have at least one individual holding an advanced degree beyond a Bachelor’s Degree. In 2009, Wellesley ranked #2 in “America’s Most Educated Small Towns” according to Forbes.com.
